BBC Salary-Benefits Package & Pastor Profile
Negotiable. BBC understands the possible need for our pastor to be bi-vocational. Benefits: No benefits (health, pension etc. You will also need to pay into your own SS.) Paid vacation: 4 weeks per year (no more than 2 consecutive weeks at a time) Total number of Sundays allowed to be away/church paid supply: 4 Sundays (excluding emergencies) Sick leave: No designated number of days. You will be given paid sick leave as necessary. If possible, the Pastor is expected to find his own replacement when he will be away.
Our pastor must first and formost be rightly related to God with a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Preaching is important. Our pastor should be strong in his understanding and preaching of the Bible. He must project a warm loving personality, be caring, compassionate, and be highly sensitive to the needs of people. Our membership is extremely diverse in terms of education, economic situations, age and theology. We need someone who is comfortable with a casual, family oriented church. We are looking for an encourager, a discipler, teacher and trainer. God is blessing us now with new members and visitors. We need someone to lead us in disciplining these people and helping them to grow, not only in their own Christian walk, but also in assuming responsibility within the church body.
